JOYCE DASER ADAMS, is an automobile – mechatronics specialist and CEO of AUTOLADY ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY LIMITED-a world class automobile diagnosis, repairs and service company that delivers the following service-oriented products: Quick service, Automobile workshop management, Integrated fleet management services, Autogas conversion technical support, Capacity building and Auto-upgrade and diagnosis services provider and dealership respectively.

She had her formal mechanical engineering training at the prestigious Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, and started her automobile mechatronic practice with the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, Abuja, and proceeded to Daneland Automobile Company for additional automotive and entrepreneurial skills training. She is also a Managing Partner for Automedics Ltd in Abuja for five years.

She has provided skill development and entrepreneurship training opportunities for over 270 Mechanics in Nigeria under the auspices of diverse training programmes over the years.

Joyce-D-1st as she is fondly called amongst her peers, is a certified trainer in Automotive mechatronics, a coach, a mentor and social entrepreneur.

Joyce has been active in youth mentorship to increase women participation in STEM- related endeavors in the Nigerian Automobile space. As an active gender campaigner, her advocacy is inclined towards promoting gender inclusivity in the Nigerian Automobile sector- an endeavour that has not only earned her much accolades, but also achieved a milestone record of training over 100 young women and girls between 2018 and 2021 for gainful employment in the automobile space.

As a social entrepreneur, She also delivers social enterprise values with her free Auto mechatronic training, and Scholarship for women through her Autolady Inspire Foundation which has been very impactful in the past few years.

Joyce Daser Adams has enjoys a professional affiliation and membership with various professional engineering bodies, such as; the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Nigeria Association of Technologist in Engineering (NATE), Nigeria Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE), Automotive and Locomotive Engineers Institute (AutoEI), Association of Professional Women Engineers in Nigeria (APWEN),National Industrial Safety Council of Nigeria (NISCN).

She is an Alumna of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) – A
U.S government sponsored Initiative that supports women entrepreneurs around the globe. She is currently the Brand Ambassador for the Police Campaign against Cultism and other Vices (POCACOV).

She has received many awards and recognition. Some of which includes; Outstanding Female Engineer by the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineer-National Student Forum in 2019, She is a Year 2020 40 under 40 Inspiring Future Mechanical Engineers by the NIMechE-Royal Academy of Engineering, UK-Forging African’s Future Mechanical Engineers.

She is also conferred with NIMechE Meritorious Service Award in the Year 2019; and was the 2020 winner of the Best Female Entrepreneur of the Year’s Award by the Plateau State Mupun Youth Movement to mention but a few.

Joyce Daser Adams was featured by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in a programme titled “Joyce da Mecho”. She was also on the ” Deloitte’s Global 2021 Millennial and Gen z Survey” as one of the six selected millennials from around the world for a programme titled “The Resilient Generation”.

Joyce Daser Adams is a Christian, hails from Plateau State, and happily married to Aremu Adams Olufunsho and blessed with three (3) children.
